Van Aroma

Van Aroma was established in 2006 in Indonesia. Its main purpose was to supply sustainably sourced and top-quality Indonesian natural essential oils to a comprehensive market.

Our first facility was set up in the city of Padang, West Sumatra. All the collection and standardization of essential oils occurred in this place. In the beginning, Van Aroma focused on patchouli and nutmeg oils as the only products they offered. However, through advanced planning, we gradually expanded our services to produce a wide range of products. These include clove oil, vetiver oil, citronella oil, and plenty of other natural derivatives from Java and Sulawesi.

Seeing that we had a growing demand and market for our products, we added another facility in Jakarta in 2009. With this expansion, Van Aroma increased the production of polished and homogenous products (like several derivatives of clove oil and patchouli oil variants). Today, we have stretched out our team and increased our infrastructural proficiencies to accommodate supercritical fluid extraction, solvent extraction units, reaction units, and steam distillation units, among others.

Infrastructure

We pride ourselves on providing excellent quality products to all our customers around the world. For this reason, we have equipped all our facilities with contemporary infrastructure and machinery. These include SCFE CO2 Extraction, Molecular Distillation Units, Fractional Distillation Units, Solvent Extraction Units, Reaction Units, and Steam Distillation Units, to name a few. The facilities also include a wide range of specialized gear necessary to produce superior grades of essential oils. These products are then passed through the scale of our strict quality control to ensure optimal and steady standards of our products.

The units are specially designed for the extraction, purification, rectifying, and treatment of essential oils that are applied in aromatherapy, nutraceutical, flavor and fragrance, and animal nutrition industries.
