Mustard

There are several botanical species of Mustard plants that can produce essential oils, including Brassica nigra, Brassica juncea, and Sinapis alba. The growing regions for these plants vary depending on the species.

Brassica nigra, also known as Black Mustard, is native to the Mediterranean region but is now widely cultivated in many parts of the world, including Europe, Asia, and North America.

Brassica juncea, also known as Brown Mustard or Indian Mustard, is native to Asia but is now cultivated in many parts of the world, including India, China, Canada, and the United States.

Sinapis alba, also known as White Mustard, is native to the Mediterranean region but is now cultivated in many parts of the world, including Europe, Asia, and North America.

It's worth noting that while all three of these botanical species can produce essential oils, Brassica nigra and Brassica juncea are more commonly used in essential oil production.
