We are PTC Holdings, a leading Cinnamon essential oil manufacturer in the world. Our humble beginning stems from the commitment and passion of our grandfather and today, we are privileged and proud to have inherited such an enduring history. 

A Sneak Peek into Our Background

In 1968, our grandfather, who is a traditional planter, took a strong interest in the Cinnamon industry and begun his Cinnamon plantation on an acre of land he inherited from his father. At that time, Cinnamon was predominantly planted and harvested in the interiors of southern parts of Sri Lanka and was not the norm in our grandfather’s Horana estate. 

With dedication and hard work, our grandfather expanded the plantation to cover several more acres within a short period. This marked the beginning of the PTC Holdings legacy that we are proud of today. Our grandfather later went on to establish the first ‘Thel Maduwa’ in the village.

We have invested heavily in automated steam boilers, distillation stills, and food-grade steam lines and we combine this with modern techniques to provide top-notch quality essential oils.
