At the inception, the core goal of the company is to build an organization that delivers the highest quality products that are based on innovation and creativity. Within a little over a decade, it has been able to achieve this goal and more. 

How we got here

When we established Annapurna Aroma, we understand that many players are in the market. Therefore, we decided to create a competitive edge and we found this edge in our research and development. The major shift of our new development is premised on the researches conducted by our Chief Research Scientist, Dr. PradbodhSatyal. 

He carried out numerous researches in the therapeutic and medicinal activities of plant species from Nepal while pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry. During his research, he explored essential oil-bearing plants and their bio-activities. 

He also led a team of 30 students to collect and analyze volatile oils from over 150 species of Himalayan plants. His researches have contributed to the unique product range that Annapurna Aroma offers today.

Our Production Process

At Annapurna Aroma, we take great care in the process of our production. We understand that a tiny error in the production chain can affect the final quality of our products. Therefore, we go the extra mile to ensure that stringent protocols are followed during the production process. We do not start production until we analyze the process from harvest to the packaging. 

We invest heavily in research and when it comes to oil analysis, we use gas chromatogram and mass spectrometry to gather detailed components of the oil. We then proceed to perform biological assays to attain absolute certainty of the activity and quality of the essential oil.
